Practice identifying flower parts on actual flowers (not just images on the computer screen). If flowers aren’t blooming outdoors, visit a florist or greenhouse. Can you identify the pedicel, receptacle, sepals, petals, stamen, and carpels (pistil)? Are some of the flowers incomplete (lacking parts)?
Optional: Start a sketchbook of interesting flowers.
