Resources:

Things you can grow for your rabbits in the cool season:
Kale, radish, swiss chard, beet greens, carrot greens, clover, dandelion, parsley, lettuce, Turnip greens, collard and broccoli greens (small amounts), sugar snap pea plants after harvest.

Things you can grow for your rabbits in the warm season:
Purslane, Egyptian Spinach, comfrey, sweet potato greens, baby sunflower and Jerusalem Artichoke sprouts, grapevine with leaves, blackberry and raspberry vine with leaves, chives, oregano, mint, sage, lemon balm, Rosemary, basil, thyme, dill, German Chamomile, calendula, marigold flowers.

Things you can forage for your rabbits:
Most grasses (cut not mowed), crabgrass, crown vetch, dandelion, honeysuckle vines, Hosta, plantain, trumpet vine

Trees your rabbits will like: Mulberry, Moringa, Willow

This is no means an exhaustive list but just the things I have personally fed my rabbits.

*Never feed rabbits iceberg lettuce, rhubarb, raw beans, apple seeds, peach pits, potatoes or corn.

Homework:

Does your local Feed Store carry Organic/Non-GMO pellets?  If not, do they order for you?  And is that within your budget?  Also, find a source for hay.  Decide where you will be storing your feed and hay and what you will be storing it in.
