Homework Assignment Segment 1 of Saving Quality Seeds
- Choose one or two vegetable varieties that you will grow to save the seed from in the next (or current) growing season. Remember from the video that some of the easiest plants to save seeds from are the ones with perfect (bi-sexual) flowers such as tomatoes, beans, peas, and lettuce.
- If you have seeds already, check to see if they are open-pollenated, heirloom, hybrid, or GMO.
