Homework:
Pick an area where you are going to want to have a garden bed next year. Hopefully it is right next to the garden bed you started this year…. Stake out the area and cover it with whatever you have that will block out light – layers of cardboard and then a thick layer of hay on top or perhaps broad pieces of wood. Yes, old carpet or black plastic if you must.
Mark Twain is quoted as saying “The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one”.
